The A-Frame Travertine Long Table is a 94½ × 35½ in (240 × 90 cm) communal table that seats up to ten: four a side and one at each head. It is drawn as the centrepiece of a dining room — the table you see from the door.
The top is travertine-look sintered stone with a 2 in (5 cm) edge. Two black steel trapezoid A-frames carry it, each set 10 in (25 cm) in from the table's ends, so the head positions stay usable and the top never cantilevers too far. A stretcher at roughly knee-clear height ties the frames together and stops the table racking along its length when a whole row leans in, and a slim brass tie rod runs beneath the top as a finishing line.
The frames splay outward at the floor, giving a wide stance that keeps a long stone top steady without heavy legs. Adjustable glides on each foot handle uneven floors.
Long tops can ship as one piece where the container allows, or in two sections joined on a concealed steel rail with a fine joint line.
