The Brass Plinth Stone Table pairs a quiet white stone-look top with a base that does the talking: black steel columns landing on a low, flat brushed-brass plinth. The plinth catches light at floor level and gives the table a jewel-like footing that suits hotel restaurants, champagne bars and fine-dining rooms.
The square two-top uses one column on a square plinth; the rectangular version stands on two columns joined to a single long plinth. The top is framed in a walnut-tone solid-wood band with a softened edge, which protects the stone and warms the overall look.
Brass at floor level needs the right finish. We specify lacquered brass or a brass-tone PVD coating over steel; PVD is the harder-wearing choice where mop buckets and chair feet will hit the plinth daily, while solid lacquered brass will develop a gentle patina over time.
As with all plate bases, the plinth must be wide enough for the top. Our drawings set it at roughly two-thirds of the top's narrow dimension, with adjustable glides set beneath the corners.
